A full replacement aftermarket roll cage for the 2 Seat Can-Am Maverick X3, built from 1.75" x .095" wall DOM tubing with full TIG welds at every joint. Low-profile design that sits lower than stock, cleans up your sight lines, and gives the X3 the aggressive stance it should have come with.

Fitment Notes
This cage fits all 2-seat Can-Am Maverick X3 models from 2017 to 2024, including the X RC, X RS, X DS, and X MR trims. The chassis and cage mounting points are the same across all trims.
2020 and newer: Direct bolt-on installation. The factory cage unbolts from the chassis at the A-pillar and rear mounting points. Our cage bolts into the same locations. No cutting, grinding, or welding required.
2017-2019 models: The factory cage on these years has welded mounting brackets at the front A-pillars. These brackets need to be cut off to access the bolt-on mounting plates underneath. The rear mounting points are the same as 2020+. This is a common modification and does not affect the chassis. If you have a 2017-2019 X3, reach out before ordering and we can walk you through the process or recommend a local shop.
Why This Cage
Most aftermarket X3 cages charge extra for a roof, powder coat, and tig welding. Our base price includes all three.
Every weld on this cage is TIG welded. Not MIG. TIG welding takes longer and costs more, but it produces stronger, cleaner joints with better penetration on thin-wall tubing. On a roll cage, weld quality is protection quality.
The DOM tubing we use is Drawn Over Mandrel, which means the interior wall is uniform in thickness. Standard ERW (Electric Resistance Welded) tubing has a seam that creates an inconsistent wall thickness. DOM costs more, but it performs more consistently under stress. For a structure that's supposed to protect you in a rollover, consistency matters.
Shipping, Lead Time, and Local Pickup
Build time: Each cage is fabricated to order. Average lead time is approximately 2-3 weeks, sometimes faster, sometimes longer depending on the customizations. Contact us for current availability if you have a specific deadline.
Shipping: Roll cages ship via LTL freight due to size. Freight shipping typically runs $1000. For an exact shipping quote before you order, call us at (806) 350-6804 or email info@topomotorsports.com.
Local pickup: Available at our shop in Amarillo, TX (6055 I-40, Amarillo, TX 79118). If you're within driving distance, you save freight cost entirely and can inspect the cage before taking it home. We also offer installation services if needed.
Installation Overview
This is a bolt-on cage replacement, not a weld-in kit. The cage ships fully assembled and ready to install. On 2020+ X3 models, the installation involves removing the factory cage (which unbolts from the chassis) and bolting the TOPO cage into the same mounting points.
