The TOPO Interior Rifle Rest mounts horizontally across the cab of your Can-Am Defender, giving you a padded steel bar to brace your rifle against when it's time to take the shot. No bouncing, no shaky offhand aim, no climbing out of the cab. Hold steady on the bar, line up your target, and squeeze.

TIG welded from 1.25" round steel tube, finished in powder coat, and wrapped in a high-density closed-cell foam pad covered in a black carbon-fiber-pattern sport utility fabric with a heavy-duty YKK zipper. Mounts between the door and door jamb. No drilling required. Doors close flush.

A Shooting Rest, Not a Storage Rack

This is built to stabilize your rifle when you shoot, not to lean it against while you drive. Pair it with your in-cab gun rack to carry, then use the bar as a steady rest the moment you need to take the shot.

Drop the bar to its lowest notch when you're driving so it stays out of your sight line. Raise it when you're set up on a stand, glassing a field, or rolling slow on a coyote. The bar holds steady so your shot does too.

Adjustable Height for Real Shooting Positions

The mounting brackets have notched height positions cut into the steel. Set the bar where your rifle wants to be, then lock it down.

Different rifles want different rest heights. Different shooters do too. Adjust in minutes with hand tools.

When you're not shooting, drop the bar to its lowest position so it sits below the dash line and stays out of view.

Padding That Stays Clean

Most interior rifle rests use mesh or velcro wraps. Mesh traps dust, brush seed, and powder residue. Velcro peels and snags. Neither protects a finished stock or barrel for long.

TOPO's bar is wrapped in 1/2" high-density closed-cell foam, covered in a black carbon-fiber-pattern sport utility fabric with stain and mildew resistance. A heavy-duty YKK zipper runs the length of the cover. Unzip it, pull the cover off, wash it, zip it back on. No trapped grit working into your rifle's finish. No fraying mesh after one season.

The padding absorbs vibration on rough ground, so the bar gives you a soft brace point instead of a hard metal edge.

Fitment

Purpose-built for the Can-Am Defender. Mounts between the door and door jamb.

Works with no windshield or with a tilt-out windshield. A fixed windshield that does not tilt out will obstruct your line of sight and is not compatible with this product. Call us at 806-350-6804 if you're not sure what you have.

Installation

The brackets bolt between the door and door jamb on each side of the cab. No drilling, no cutting, no modification to your Defender. Doors close flush and latch properly.

Once the brackets are mounted, set the bar to your preferred height notch and lock it down. Adjust anytime.
