The TOPO Heavy-Duty Headache Rack turns your Can-Am Defender into a purpose-built machine for feed runs, game retrievals, fence repair, and trail miles deep into the backcountry. TIG welded by hand from 1.75" round steel tubing with .095 wall thickness. Textured black powder coat. Bolts directly to the cab.
The high-mount winch plate gives you lift and leverage when you need it. Add an upper accessory mount for thermal optics or a remote spotlight. Add pod lights for side visibility. Add your own logo laser-cut into the steel. This rack is a platform you build on.

Why TIG Welded
Most headache racks on the market are MIG welded or cheap, flimsy sheet metal. TOPO racks are TIG welded by hand and ready to take abuse.
TIG welding produces stronger, cleaner, more consistent welds with deeper penetration into the base metal. It's slower and harder to do, which is why most competitors don't use it. But when you're loading 200 lbs+ of dead weight over the bed at an angle, weld quality is the difference between a rack that holds and one that doesn't.

Winch-Ready, Your Way
Ships with a high-mount winch plate built in. You choose the winch.
The elevated mounting position gives your winch the cable angle and leverage to pull loads up and over the bed. Less dragging, more lifting.
Upper Accessory Mount
The optional upper mount welds directly to the top of the rack, giving you a dedicated mounting position for accessories that need height and line of sight.
Run a DARK 30 Thermal for nighttime hog detection. Mount a GoLight remote spotlight for hands-free illumination across the property. The upper mount puts these tools where they're most effective, above the cab with a clear field of view in every direction.
This is an add-on that gets permanently welded to your rack before it ships.
Pod Lights
Add a pod light to each side of the rack for wide-angle visibility when you're working or hunting in low light.
Two mounting positions, one per side, put light exactly where you need it without cluttering the rack or blocking the winch. Useful for pre-dawn feed runs, after-dark property checks, and loading game in the field.
Custom Logo
Make it yours. Send us a DXF file and we'll laser-cut your logo, ranch brand, or custom design directly into the steel of the rack.

I appreciated the customer service…I checked thewrong block in my order and they called to verify the choice I made and saved me a ton of headaches. My only negative was the hardware provided—really the washers were not big enough to keep the bolts from punching through the frame of the rack. They did not match the YouTube video where they used lock washers and a large washer. No big deal-$10 at the hardware store and I was in business. Wiring was simple. Great product.
